Contract to Closing for Sellers
  • Choose a company for preparation of the deed: Closing date is set by purchaser, so we will inform you when the date will be. Check with us to see if Purchaser has chosen a title company for closing (which could save you cost) or you may use your own attorney.
  • Contact your mortgage company concerning your payoff amount. Make sure you get this information back to us.
  • Choose a company for termite, well, and septic inspections. We can schedule these for you.
  • Call your home insurance company to let them know you will be cancelling your policy on closing day.
  • Day of Closing: The property becomes that of the purchaser. Before leaving for closing, please make sure all of your belongings have been removed, house broom cleaned and bring all keys!
